She who shall remain nameless!!

LEVUKA PUBLIC SCHOOL REUNION

At the end of August 2004, the Levuka Public School celebrated its 125th anniversary. Approximately 600 ex-students attended the three days of celebrations. The town really came alive, with lots of laughter and many, many stories.
We were proud to host the Prime Minsiter of Fiji, Mr. Laisenia Qarase, amd his wife. They came to Levuka to open the celebrations and then join in the fun.
Unfortunately the weather was not too kind. It rained most of the time and the town was flooded on Saturday night, but it certainly did not put a damper on the celebrations. A good time was had by all and we look forward to the next reunion in five years.

Time out!!

SUNNY LEVUKA

Yes, it does rain in Levuka, but nowhere near as much as Suva. You can still spend some time getting a nice tan, so that when you go home, your friends will be envious.

The beauty within

OLD AND BEAUTIFUL

Holy Redeemer Anglican Church in Levuka celebrated its centenary in 2004. From the outside it looks 100 years old, but inside it is beautiful. When the sun is at the right angle, the stained glass windows really come to life.
This is just another reason to come to Levuka.
